Useful Links

A quick search on google using the words "bicycle" or "cycling" turned up over 1.3 million web pages. We can safely tell you we did not review all 1.3 million in compiling this listing of links, and we may have missed some very good sites (by the way, if you want to suggest a link for us to add, email info@mrpbike.com).

These links are sorted within their sections alphabetically by URL (that's the web site address).

We thought many of these sites would be useful to the type of cyclists that tend to be interested in our products. Enjoy, but don't spend all day on the computer. Get out and ride!

www.bikescape.com/ Over 15,000 pages of content, all about cycling.
www.mtbinfo.com/ General purpose web site
cycling.org/ Includes sections on events, clubs, discussion groups, classifieds, news, even job offerings. You can post info regarding your event, etc.
About mountain bike section If you're familiar with "About", you know that they try to create sites about everything. This one about cycling is pretty good, pretty basic.
www.bicyclesource.com/ A bit rough, but tons of content and lots of different subjects. Caution: some of the info is pretty dated.
www.bicycletrader.com/ Sell or swap.
www.biketrials.com/ Very comprehensive site devoted to the quirky, intensely watchable sport of observed trials.
www.trialsworks.com/ Another trials site with tons of content, this time from the UK.
www.dirtworld.com/ All the usual topics. Good list of cycling news items, at least when we visited. They also sell product.
www.icebike.com/ Brrrrr. It takes a real man or woman to ride when it's that cold. Here's how to minimize the risk of early death.
www.mtbinfo.com/ MTBR junior.
Primal Wear Clothing One of the more popular brands.
www.mtbr.com/ The dominant general interest mountain bike site. Still a regular must visit for us.

Other Good Links Pages

Destination Comments
cycling.org/ws/links.html Huge list of links.
www.adventuresports.com/index/bikedir.htm Good organization, lots of club info and calender links.
www.dmoz.org/Sports/Cycling/Mountain_Biking/ An interesting "open" directory. Not a tremendous amount of content, but aims at expansion. Go and contribute (a link...not money!).
www.geocities.com/Colosseum/6213/ An individual effort. Huge, but short on organization.
www.mikebentley.com/bike/index.html Another individual site. Lots of content but not much of it relates to bicycle product companies (like us, sob!).

www.mtbr.com/hotlinks/ As you'd expect, a BIG list, very thorough and nicely organized.

Suspension Related

Destination Comments
dougal.8m.com/framesetb.html And here's another Internet labor of love. Dougal's site is very in depth on rear suspension design. If you're interested in the techy details of rear suspension, you owe this site a look. Otherwise, you can click on his index, look at his photo albums, and wish you lived in New Zealand.
www.angryasian.com Focused on front suspension, the Asian runs probably the best suspension-oriented website not tied to a particular company. Great technical advice.
www.answerproducts.com/ Answer/Manitou factory site
www.math.chalmers.se/~olahe/Bike/ Another individually-run suspension site. Covers front and rear.
www.ridemozo.com/ Mozo factory site (formerly RST USA)
www.rockshox.com Rock Shox factory site
www.whitebros.com/mtb.html White Brothers factory site
